It's so hard to find something new to say about a rose with a camera. To a certain degree, all of us have to go through the exercise, until we've seen how easy it is to get a satisfying picture of a lovely flower, and how hard it is to get a unique image of a lovely flower... we haven't, um, blossomed... as photogrpahers.

That said, I enjoy the implied morphing of rosebud to sweet face in this series. But I find myself particularly attracted to your second in this flower series which is perhaps a variation of the third? As an artist you have have discovered ideas about that second bud which commuincate a mood which transcends most rose images. Perhaps you have imagined, then imposed a character upon that blossom which is as much your creation as nature's. Wherever you discovered that bloom, from outter or inner space... It is quite evocative.

Thanks for sharing
